Poster presentations are a vital and valued component of Gravel-Bed Rivers 10. They provide an inclusive platform for sharing research, fostering dialogue, and building collaborations across disciplines and career stages.

All registered participants are warmly invited to present a poster at GBR10. We welcome contributions that span the full range of gravel-bed river science and practice, including empirical studies, conceptual advances, methodological developments, and applied case studies.

We anticipate that there will be the option for poster presenters to submit their work to a GBR journal special issue. Further details to follow.

Poster Sessions

Posters will be displayed throughout the week in central, accessible spaces. In addition, we will hold dedicated sessions for poster presentations and ‘pop-up intros’.

Abstract submission

Abstracts should be drafted using the GBR10 word template and then submitted via email to gravelbedrivers10@gmail.com by 30th April 2026. Please use the template. Abstracts that do not conform to the template style will be returned to you to resubmit.

If you require a letter of acceptance ahead of the conference, please submit your abstract as soon as possible and let the committee know of your requirement.

Early-Career and Student Participation

Poster presentations are especially encouraged from early-career researchers and students. A small number of poster prizes will be awarded, recognising clarity, originality, and contribution to gravel bed river science.
